Our Goals

Our goals are for children to take initiative as they make choices, play constructively and share their ideas with others. We acknowledge what the children are doing as we give language to the concepts they are experimenting with.  With enough varied materials, children sort, classify, count objects and figure out what is the same or different. They learn problem solving skills through constructive play and learn how to deal with conflicts. The children expand their math, language, thinking and social abilities as they concretely manipulate materials in the classroom and outdoors. They gain self confidence as they share themselves with others.
